1st day in 2010.
Don't really have plan to go out.Though I can feel the boredom in my room.
Raining quite heavily outside. ~sleepy~
Just feel like slacking around in room, clicking here and there in the lappie, be a internet roamer to celebrate my new year. (:
Oh ya! Wanted to post my family trip here. But was too occupied with some bad news before this. Now, finally some times for myself, though problems are not settled. *peace*
28/12/09
My whole family came down to Singapore! *wink*
A tiring journey for them. Can see that from their faces. LOL~
Because of bus delay, they only reached Harbourfront at around 1800pm. Guess what? Pity me got minor diarrhea while waiting for them to reach the terminal since 1700pm. (Luckily the toilet is nearby =p)
Reached NTU around 1900pm. Exhausted looking on their faces. Had to cancel my initial plan to visit Chinatown and Clarke Quay that night. Ended up bringing them to JP for dinner. Hah!
Yucks! The food is not nice!!
Okay, comment from my Sis. =D
Haha.. But I think I am kind of use to it by now. (cause I used to said the same thing when I first came this place)
29/12/09
Explore Singapore!!
Wait.. Before that need to explore NTU first. LOL~
Explore NTU by sitting on the shuttle bus. =p What to do? Some people were just too lazy to walk.
*grin*
Not me.
Explore Singapore started after that.
1st Station: Chinatown.
As usual, shopaholic Mrs.Ng will surely get something. You may called it "souvenirs". Haha.. I think I inherit the gene from her. =)
Pancake durian, anyone? Yucks!
Had our lunch there too. Too bad the “汤圆" stall never open in daytime. =( Went to another food court. But I will surely not recommend it!
2nd Station: Clarke Quay
Okay. I got you. Clarke Quay got nothing in daytime. Because clubbers and club owners are still sleeping at that time. But I don't have time in night! Snapped a few pictures and that's it.
3rd Station: BUGIS!
Bugis street, Bugis junction. Very crowded for a normal weekday. Especially in Bugis Street. I think we were being pushed inside rather than walked inside.
As expected, shopaholic will surely get some "souvenirs" from here. LOL~ Bought her a bag (I paid everything ,ok?), my sis a tee and Me a dress! =) That dress cost only $10! *cheap* Gosh! Even if I only wear it for like 2 or 3 times, still worth it. =)
4th Station: Esplanade and Merlion's Park
"Ang mo lui lian" here we were! (: Looks like the casino construction is more efficient than I expected. Will surely attract lots of tourists especially Malaysian. =p
Anyone up for it?? =)
Walked all the way to Merlion's park. Cause that is the must-snap-pic destination for whoever came to SG. Haha.. Still remember the 1st night I arrived in SG during my 1st year, I was there too! =) Merlion is still so cute! (:
Had dinner at the hawker centre beside the Esplanade. I starve so easily ever since I came back here. Not a good sign. ):
5th and last Station: Orchard
Well, that is the destination Mrs.Ng wanted to go so much. Haha.. Not because of the shopping malls!! The decorations instead. =)
I guess Orchard's decorations never fail to disappoint people during Xmas and New Year. As usual, crowded Orchard Road.
Obviously, they all were tired. Thus, no energy for them to continue shopping or buying "souvenirs". A long trip back to NTU and a hot shower sounded best at that time. We left there before the MRT became more crowded. I think all of them snored that night. ~LOL~
Me? The whole day trip and my aching legs reminded me of my "Explore Singapore" during my first year FOC camp. LOL~ Went to almost the same places except City Hall, I guess. We actually traveled 3 out of 3 of the MRT lines in a day. Purple, red, green. =D But I know this was a rare chance for me to travel like this with them.
30/12/09
Fun time over. Time to pack and go back to home sweet home. (I want go back too!!) Accompanied them to the bus terminal in Novena Square. Had a super full breakfast+lunch before they went off. Guess they were a bit bad luck that day. Bus delayed for around 15minutes due to jam. On the way back, the bus broke down near Damansara. But luckily they still reached home safely. =)
It is really nice that they came down all the way to visit me. Thanks! =)
I will see you all in SG again during my convocation year.
*wink*
