A tiring day... Due to "endless" waiting...
On the day back home, suggested to Mrs.Ng that 4 of them maybe can go down to Singapore to have a trip since the two little brats are having holidays at the same time. And obviously, I brought myself into this predicament. =(
Went to Immigration dept with Mr.Ng and the 2 little brats this afternoon to renew the passport of the 2. Guess what??
Ya, that is for real. With 244 persons ahead of us as shown in the coupon. The most sarcastic part is the line "Please take a seat, you will be served shortly". The line is in Malay language, of course.
Guess how long we waited there??
5HOURS!!
Gosh.... It like never ending and as if you won't get your turn until the next day..
Q to get the form, Q again to get the number, Q again and again to submit the form, and we even needed to Q again to pay!! Why do they need to make everything and anything so fussy and tedious?? Why can't they give us the number the same time when they provide with us the app form?? Why do we need to wait for so long just to pay??
WHY??
Is passport application/renewal in other countries as long-awaited as ours? Do they actually need their citizens to take a day leave just to get themselves a passport?? I really wonder....
Yes. I am piss off with the system and waiting. Does the government think that we have a lot of times to wait there? Or the government think that people do not need to work so hard?
Since lazy has become one of the cultures in our country.
Wasted a whole afternoon of mine. We went to both KFC and McD to spend some of our times. =X Brought along my lappie.. But too bad, the Wi-Fi of McD isn't that good. KFC doesn't even have Wi-Fi. @~@
Finally things got done at 1840pm. But still we can only collect the passport the next day. Another round of waiting on another day.. What the heck!!!
Luckily I only need to renew my passport every 5years. Or else, kill me please.
